Let me start this week by sharing an insightful, short poem I saw on a magnet that was purchased to decorate my 6th grader's first school locker –a huge event in the life of a tween! It is by William Arthur Ward.
The adventure of life is to learn.
The goal of life is to grow.
The nature of life is to change.
The challenge of life is to overcome.
The essence of life is to care.
The secret of life is to dare.
The beauty of life is to give.
The joy of life is to love.
I like to cut through the clutter and appreciate the way that this poem does so.
