By The Numbers

My son and I really enjoy the television drama "Numb3rs" on Friday nights. It’s a thinking show where a genius FBI agent applies complex mathematical methods to solve crimes. I cannot vouch for its realism, but it seems really cool. So, it got me thinking. Why not share some interesting numbers (minus the complex calculations) with you? I promise, no math degree required.
0 - Professional sports teams I root for who have won a championship in the past 10 years.

1 - Action is all it takes to get you closer to your goals.
You don’t have to be great to get started, but you do have to get started to be great!
3 - Words can change someone’s world.

Now, that’s a long time to accrue wisdom. It probably took my little green Star Wars friend that long to come up with my favorite quote, "Do or do not. There is no try." Our words are the seeds of commitment.

He fought through many failures while inventing so many things. In fact, he said, "Genius? Nothing! Sticking to it is the genius. I've failed my way to success."

Seize every moment! You never know when it might be your defining moment.

A single word or act can create a positive ripple effect many people and many miles away.
