The Speed
of Success
by Lee J.
Colan, Ph.D.
Speed.
It’s a simple, yet sometimes mind-boggling concept.
Consider this the next time you hit “send”. An email
travels 3,000 miles from Los Angeles to Maine in just 2.4
seconds miles while switching servers 53 times!
Been to the grocery store lately? A laser bar scanner at your
local grocery store scans the product barcode 100 times in
1/10th of a second and all 100 times have to match exactly for
it to allow the item to clear. All this happens while you are
grabbing an extra pack of gum.
Speed
has even gone old school. Low-tech manufacturing equipment can
produce 100,000 Q-tips per second. Now that’s a lot of clean
ears.
And each year, Americans spend over $120 billion for fast food…
all in the name of
speed.
So, what does it take to succeed in today’s high-speed
world?
Watch the 3-minute movie,
The
Speed of Success, to discover the 7 Success Accelerators
(turn up your PC volume!).
I hope you get inspired….
FAST!
P.S. Another powerful movie to get your day started is
The
Nature of Excellence.
